Ah, Super Sunday...no doubt one of my favorite days of the year. No where else is the true culture of New Orleans on such vivid display. I've photographed it for 5 years in a row now, and it never gets old. All walks of life come out to witness the beauty, and it's impossible to be disappointed. In fact, a fellow photographer friend finally came out after years of me casually asking him to do so, and he was blown away. The point is, if you haven't witnessed Super Sunday and the Mardi Gras Indians in person yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. It's simply one of the best days in New Orleans.
