One of my favorite things about Mardi Gras (and New Orleans in general) is the sheer amount of creativity in people, paraded free in the streets for all to enjoy. The Skeleton Krewe always brings it and I love photographing them. It was my second go round marching with them and I always have a good time. (You can catch the first go round here.) You also have to keep in mind that all of these skulls were last year's editions- they don't reveal their new work until Fat Tuesday. Just another thing to look forward to.
