I can finally put these up... I shot these a couple of months ago around the state capital and downtown Baton Rouge, but obviously couldn't put them up in fear of the groom seeing them.
So, without further ado, I introduce Mrs. Palmer.
Awesome wedding and honeymoon in the Bahamas. Clear skies and beautiful beaches to follow.
The Passion Flower, among others, grows wild on the abandoned golf course in City Park.... and apparently it is a great herb herb used for headaches, pain, PMS, and insomnia when ground up and a brewed in a tea. Who knew? Nature is pretty sweet.
The boys over at the LSU Publications Office have outdone themselves again. They just won the coveted CoSIDA "Best in the Nation" award for the 2010 LSU Football poster and the LSU Women's Soccer poster. Their LSU Football Season guide came in third. Not too shabby.
Beautiful stuff boys. Lets hope to a great 2011 season!
You'd be hard pressed to find a cooler and more laid back couple than Toni & John. It was by far one of the coolest weddings I've ever been to, much less been a part of. From the beginning I felt as though I was one of the guest, not the hired help. They were awesome, and best of all, totally in love.
A quick ceremony in a quaint French Quarter courtyard was followed by a police-escorted-Treme-Brass-band led second line that took us all around the Quarter and finally to Tipitina's FQ. It was really cool to see the tourist's and local's reactions. Seeing a happy wedding party dance by never gets old.
It's safe to say a great time was had by all. It was one of the most "New Orleans" weddings I've been to, and with most of the guests from out of state that really added up to a great time.
There are many, many more, but here are a few of my favorites. The song they danced to, "You're not the only Oyster in the Stew", pretty much sums up the night. Hit play and enjoy.
