Tuyl & Blake :: A New Orleans Wedding

When I was home last month, I was lucky enough to get to shoot Blake & Tuyl's City Park wedding.  I've gotten to know Tuyl's family quite well, and I must say, I love these people.  Not only was I treated like a royal guest at their wedding, but I was made to feel like family.  That's pretty special.  It was an amazing wedding...classic New Orleans.  The forecast called for 110% chance of rain, but it could not have been a more beautiful day.  Funny how that works.

Blake is an amazing musician, so of course the music was on par, and he even performed.  And to top things off, just when I thought the party was dying down, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux & The Wild Magnolias marched in and had the place dancing well into the night.  If you follow my work, you know I love the Mardi Gras Indians, so it was a real treat for me.  It was an awesome night for an awesome couple, and that's how it should be.  Enjoy the pics.

A beautiful end to the night in City Park.
